Access Statement

We are located on the cliff path between Sandown and Shanklin in Lake.

Vehicular access is made from a service road which is a continuation of Brownlow Road, Haytor Lodge is just passed Lake Station. If you are using a sat nav you should head for the post code for Brownlow Road/Araluen Way (PO36 8PW).

Lake Station is situated about 100 metres away, turn right on leaving the station.

The nearest shops are about 10 minutes walk in Lake, were there are also bus stops for Ryde and Newport.

We have 1 cat and a dog we are currently not able to take pets accept guide dogs.

Brochures and menus can be provided in large print if required. We regret we do not have facilities to prepare documents in braille.

Arrival and Car Parking

Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be sure we are here to welcome you.

To ensure your accommodation is ready we ask that guests do not normally arrive before 2.00pm. Earlier arrival may, however, be possible by arrangement.

Parking is on a level car park off the service road.

We offer assistance with luggage.

Main Entrance

There are is a slight incline but no steps to the front door. Follow the signs from the car park right round the house to the guest entrance.

Please ring the front door bell but we usually have seen you arrive by then.

Guest Accommodation – Public Areas

The inner front door has a threshold which is 10 cm high. The minimum width of the entrance doorway is 70 cm

The hallway leads into a guest lounge, dining room and the one ground floor room (Room 7) with no steps..

There is a downstairs toilet that is available to guests

We have seven guest bedrooms 1 in ground floor, 4 on first floor and 2 on second floor (please see section “Bedrooms” for more information).
